Laura Shaw is an award-winning book designer specializing in books about gardening, cooking, crafts, yoga, and the natural world. She attended the School for the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where she studied photography and film. After working as an art director for the Knopf Group at Random House in New York City, she opened her own freelance studio and now designs for clients nationwide. She lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where she hikes, cooks, gardens, and obsessively makes quilts—which can be seen at laurashaw.net.
